Cozy Stay by Little Italy & Wooster Street

No hot shower / no follow up / cold room. Positive: Size / lots of room / parking on site was good to have / key pin was handy / you’re paying for location if you love Wooster square. Negative: Wish we went somewhere else. Bit of a rip off with the quality of the building (people stomping / screaming upstairs). Requesting some kinda compensation as it’s ridiculous to spend over $480 US dollars for two nights with no shower (said sorry they accidentally turned gas off which was meant to be nexdoor but sorry doesn’t cut it - we couldn’t shower). Also cold (not insulated / old building with breeze coming through air conditioning vents).

Our stay was very enjoyable! Our hosts were beyond accommodating! Positive: Breakfast was not included - the area was very walkable for food. Negative: The area was a little loud with street noise but that was just the area - not the facility.

Positive: The space was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, warm, and inviting. Negative: The kitchen could benefit from some retrofitting. A baking tray could replace a toaster. An air fryer above the oven could replace both a microwave and a toaster

We hope to back again soon! Positive: Perfect location to everything. We did not need a car and walked everywhere. The accommodations were so cozy it felt like we were at home. The bed was so comfortable.

We booked the apartment for 6 days and moved out after one night. Positive: new (window) air-condition units, kitchen utensils, some new furniture and decoration (displayed on photos) Negative: The apartment overall is shabby, with chipping bath-tub, tiles coming loose, doors and frames chipping off, old kitchen cabinets, entrance hall of the building very dirty (apartment owner claims it is not his responsibility, the apartment itself was clean). We have stayed in several other places in New Haven and never had an apartment in such bad condition. The touch ups made do not justify the price.
