Cozy Stay in Downtown New Haven byYale & Little Italy

This somewhat dated but well-maintained apartment is all about the location, which is great. The off-street parking is super convenient, and so is the building and apartment access. The eclectic furnishings are fine (who really needs a high top poker table?), and the 2 window AC units work, although closing the bedroom curtain covers that unit. The bathroom is dated but clean. The price seemed a bit steep; we don’t require luxury at all, but the price kind of suggests that’s what you’re getting for your money. Overall, the pluses are many, the drawbacks few.

Positive: Great location. Easy to get in. Nicely furnished living space. Wifi and TV worked like a charm. Negative: Not enough linens (one of our party was sleeping on the couch). The electrical outlet nearest my bed didn't work.

We enjoyed our stay in New Haven and this apartment was in a great location to the places we wanted to visit...Yale University, Yale Art Museum, Yale Peabody Museum Nat'l History, eating in Little Italy. We even ventured out and drove to Ft Giswald Battlefield and Mystic Village Museum which were only 30 minutes away. The only issue we had was the sheets did not have a good smell. Not sure if the issue is with the washing machine, soap that was used or just old sheets!

Prima voor een nachtje Positive: Lokatie is fantastisch vlakbij Frank Pepe, de bekendste pizzeria van New Haven. Leuke straat. Ruimte met een woonkamer keuken kleine badkamer en slaapkamer. Goed Parkeren. Negative: Op de foto’s lijkt alles wat moderner dan in werkelijkheid. De (gezamenlijke) beetje shabby entree met post van andere bewoners achter de voordeur. Weinig ruimte voor de bagage. Het voelt daardoor meer als een longterm rental. Geen grote luxe , prijs- kwaliteit niet helemaal ok voor 300 per nacht maar het voldeed voor ons prima voor een nachtje.

Great location for our Apizza tour Positive: It was close to little Italy which is where we wanted to be close to Sally’s & Pepe’s Apizza.. Negative: We have stayed there twice & would definitely go back
